Saint Augustine Photography Workshop Policies
These policies apply to the Patricia Bean Photography two-day workshop in Saint Augustine, Florida, October 21–22, 2026.
Please review them before completing your registration.
Registration and Payment
Full payment is required to reserve your place.
Attendance is limited to eight participants. Registrations are accepted in the order payment is received.
Minimum Enrollment and Workshop Confirmation
A minimum of six paid participants is required for the workshop to proceed.
The workshop will be officially confirmed no later than September 21, 2026. Please wait for confirmation before purchasing nonrefundable airfare or making other nonrefundable travel arrangements.
If Patricia Bean Photography cancels the workshop because minimum enrollment is not reached, all workshop tuition paid directly to Patricia Bean Photography will be refunded in full.
Patricia Bean Photography is not responsible for airfare, accommodations, transportation, or other personal expenses. Flexible travel arrangements and travel insurance are recommended.
Participant Cancellations
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing.
Cancellations received on or before September 21, 2026: Workshop tuition will be refunded, less a $75 administrative fee.
Cancellations received September 22 through October 6, 2026: 50% of the workshop tuition will be refunded.
Cancellations received on or after October 7, 2026: Workshop tuition is nonrefundable.
If the workshop is full and your place can be filled from the waitlist, Patricia Bean Photography may provide a refund, less the $75 administrative fee.
With advance written approval, a registration may be transferred to another person who meets the workshop participation requirements.
No refunds will be provided for late arrival, early departure, missed activities, or unused portions of the workshop.
Cancellation by Patricia Bean Photography
Patricia Bean Photography reserves the right to cancel or postpone the workshop because of insufficient enrollment, instructor illness, severe weather, unsafe conditions, government restrictions, or circumstances beyond reasonable control.
If Patricia Bean Photography cancels the workshop, participants will receive a full refund of workshop tuition paid directly to Patricia Bean Photography.
Refunds are limited to workshop tuition. Patricia Bean Photography is not responsible for travel, lodging, transportation, or other expenses incurred by participants.
Weather and Itinerary Changes
The workshop will proceed in a variety of weather and lighting conditions.
Photography locations, timing, and the order of activities may be changed when necessary because of weather, safety, accessibility, museum requirements, unexpected closures, changing light, or other circumstances.
Such adjustments are part of providing the strongest and safest possible learning experience and do not constitute cancellation of the workshop.
Physical Activity
The workshop includes extended periods of walking and standing on brick, stone, and uneven historic streets.
Participants are responsible for determining whether they are physically able to participate safely. Please contact Patricia before registering if you have questions about the activity level or need to discuss an accommodation.
Cameras, Phones, and Equipment
iPhone, Android, and digital-camera photographers are welcome.
Participants are responsible for bringing, protecting, and understanding the basic operation of their own equipment. A preparation guide appropriate to each participant’s device will be provided before the workshop.
Patricia Bean Photography is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged cameras, phones, accessories, or other personal belongings.
Editing
The workshop includes a straightforward editing lesson using Snapseed.
Participants will receive installation and preparation instructions before the workshop. Phone photographers will work with photographs on their devices. Digital-camera photographers will receive advance guidance for selecting and transferring suitable image files for the editing session.
Museum Photography
Museum admission for the scheduled group photography session is included in the workshop tuition.
Participants must follow all museum rules concerning equipment, movement, flash, tripods, handling objects, and permitted photography. Museum access and photography permissions remain subject to the museum’s requirements.
If museum access becomes unavailable for reasons outside Patricia Bean Photography’s control, an appropriate alternative learning activity will be provided.
What Is Not Included
Unless expressly stated otherwise, workshop tuition does not include:
Airfare or other travel to Saint Augustine
Accommodations
Transportation
Parking
Meals and beverages
Travel insurance
Personal photography equipment
Digital Camera Operation Instruction
Personal expenses
Participant Conduct
Participants are expected to treat fellow participants, staff members, museum personnel, members of the public, and historic properties respectfully.
Patricia Bean Photography reserves the right to remove a participant whose conduct is unsafe, disruptive, unlawful, or interferes with the experience of others. No refund will be provided in these circumstances.
Travel Insurance
Participants are encouraged to consider travel insurance that may cover trip cancellation, illness, travel interruption, airfare, accommodations, and other nonrefundable expenses.
Each participant is responsible for reviewing and selecting any insurance coverage appropriate to their circumstances.
For participants who would like assistance exploring their options, my personal friend, a licensed travel agent, can provide information about travel-insurance plans that may include coverage for workshop tuition and related travel expenses.
Coverage varies by policy. Participants are responsible for reviewing the terms, exclusions, coverage limits, and eligibility requirements before purchasing a plan.
